''Chromatomyia horticola'' is a species of leaf-mining fly in the family Agromyzidae of the order Diptera. It is now referred to by its original name, ''Phytomyza horticola'', following synonymy of ''Chromatomyia'' with ''Phytomyza''. The species is a pest of high economic importance affecting the vegetable crops in temperate and tropical regions〔Spencer, K.A., 1973. Agromyzidae (Diptera) of economic importance.
